Teaching Training: How to teach (FSE organized)

Course description

- TRAINING ORGANIZED BY GSSE FOR FSE PHD CANDIDATES ONLY -

As a PhD candidate, teaching may be a part of your job. If not, you might have volunteered to teach parts of a course. The aim of this training is to develop competences and skills to prepare and teach in the context of FSE and take part in the assessment procedure of a course.

Timeframe and planning
The course runs once a year, starting in block 1a. Attendance of the workshops is mandatory. You can only miss one workshop (in that case, you have to complete an alternative assignment).

Entry requirements and credits
You can only take this course if you have concrete teaching plans. We apply all theory to the course you are/will be teaching. If you don't have teaching duties coming up, you can follow the introduction to teaching course instead.

  • Scholarship PhD students do not teach as part of their job.
